This world is headed for destruction.
As humans struggle to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has shocked the world, destroying cities, displacing thousands of people, and causing the loss of family members.
There are also mass shootings in some major cities in the United States, serious incidents in the South China Sea, and unspeakable crimes in our own country. Such situations are cause for concern and distress for our future. The Bible explains why the world is so wicked.
Big gap
Myanmar has a population of about 55 million. The majority of Burmese are Buddhists, with Buddhists (87%), Christians (6.2%), Muslims (4.3%), Sikhs (0.8%), and Hindus (0.5%). The country’s economy is also in decline due to the current political turmoil. Unemployment is high and instability is rampant. Many people are hopeless, and it is a high time for Christians to share the good news of hope.
To fill this huge gap, we must work to fulfill the great commission that Christ gave us, so that many people can hear the good news of the gospel and be saved.
Bridge
This great gap clearly shows that the body of Christ has much to do as a bridge.
God has called His church to preach the good news of God’s love and forgiveness to all nations and to make disciples. Our Myanmar Campus Crusade for Christ has responded to God’s call by serving in various capacities. Are you ready to join us as a bridge, friend?
